D&A has recently completed The new 37,000 square foot tenant improvement for Lionbridge Technologies. D&A was contracted by Cresa Partners to build the new Rancho Bernardo headquarters. The new facility wil be used as a Computer hardware testing laboratory. Erik Durkin was Project Manager for D&A and Rick Batson was the onsite Superintendant.

D&A has recently broken ground on the new Mar Brisa Resort in Carlsbad. D&A was retained by Grand Pacific Resorts Inc. to construct the new Sales Center and the new time-share Villas. The entire master development will consist of a new sales center three new hotels, and 27 New time-share villas, within the complex there will be one restaurant, five new pools and tennis courts Davis & Adams's scope of work currently consists of the concurrent construction of the new 27,000 structural steel framed building and two additional 18,000 square foot, three story Pre-fabricated steel framed buildings. The Architect for the project is Nogle Onufer Associate Architects. The project Manager for D&A is Chris Benzing and the site Superintendent is Hilton Sachs.

Davis & Adams Construction Inc. , recently completed 7,000 square feet of tenant improvements for the new Sorrento Mesa headquarters of National Semiconductor Inc. at 10105 Pacific Heights Blvd. in San Diego. The new built-to-suit office and lab was designed by Facility Solutions . The new space features stone flooring with a custom reception in the lobby, a new 1,000-square-foot research lab, and executive offices throughout. Davis & Adams' team included Erik Durkin as project manager, Nina Mineo as coordinator and John Hamrick as onsite superintendent. Major subcontractors included Westerly Mechanical, Ink Electric, SCS Flooring, General Coatings, McBride Doors and Hobbs Drywall . Davis & Adams was retained by RREEF Real Estate .

Davis & Adams Construction Inc. has recently completed a fast-track project for Bunim-Murray Productions based out of Los Angeles. Originally set as an eight-week turnkey project, due to scheduling restrictions construction was completed in 23 days. The project was to gut the interior of the old Blue Crab Restaurant on North Harbor Drive in Point Loma and turn it into the new MTV "The Real World San Diego" Beach House. Due to the fast-track nature of this project, there was an onsite CAD operator and set designer, changing wall layouts as quick as they could come down. The new house features an exterior facelift, two oceanfront balconies, weight room, recreation room, three bedrooms, new kitchen, surf-style showers and more. Katherine Spencer designed the set. The project manager for Davis & Adams was Erik Durkin, and Jason Morrison was the onsite superintendent. The major subcontractors were General Coatings, William Rodgers Drywall and Gary Electric .

Richard Freeman, attorney for Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton , will continue as legal counsel for ABC and the Apprenticeship Training Trust.

Davis & Adams Construction began work Sept. 1 on a $1,187,422 contract for the remodel of Foothills United Methodist Church, classroom and social building (Zerbe Building) at 4031 Avocado Blvd. in La Mesa. Work is scheduled for completion January 2004. The project features a remodel of the existing building, adding additional space and a complete renovation of the children's recreation area. Russell Tsuchida, AIA, designed the extensive remodel. Gene Turner is project manager for Davis & Adams and Scott Oberle is onsite superintendent. The major subcontractors include DaTon Concrete, Cement Cutting, Cass Plumbing & Heating, Greater San Diego Air Conditioning, Mission Valley Cabinets, Davis Framing and Ink Electric .
